Catholic Community Reviver for 30 years saving lives!The Catholic Community Reviver was born from an inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the heart of our founder David Arão Siqueira.
Soon after his experience of Gods Love in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement (RCC) he felt in his heart the strong impulse of the Holy Spirit to work in the ministry of evangelization.
This fact was confirmed in the 1980s with the strong appeal of the then Pope John Paul II calling the church for a new evangelization.Evangelization that according to the pope would be new in its ardor and expression.
After David Arão obtained permission from the church in Belo Horizonte to preach the gospel in a public square, he was asked by the archdiocesan office of the RCC to display a photo of the pope at the site, identifying the group as Catholics.
While he was in prayer, God showed him in a vision the situation of extreme misery of a people, whose images still remain in his mind as it were today and discernment was not possible.
By sharing the revelation with the nucleus and listening to the Word of God there, weekly for two consecutive years, God convinced them that he was calling them to evangelize the poor.Mr.
David Aaron was studying the social doctrine of the Church at the time.
Therefore, in addition to the prayers in the houses, they started with prayer groups and went to the public squares to meet directly with marginalized brothers, addicts, including street children, announcing to them the Good News of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, as food for the soul, as well as the distribution of a snack for sustenance for the body.
(Mark 16, 15).On January 6, 1990, the Catholic Community Reviver was founded.
We are an alliance Community whose supporting pillars are: PRAYER, FRATERNAL LIFE AND SERVICE.The David Arão Siqueira Administrative Center, of the Reviver Catholic Community, has a wide space, with professionals who work in the administrative, financial, fundraising and database areas.
We also have psychology and social care professionals who meet the demands inherent in social work.The financial, administrative and organizational processes relevant to the smooth running of the activities of the Reviver Catholic Community as a whole are observed.
These processes contain statutory and civil documentation, payments, registration and payment slips of contributing partners, contracting of service providers and employees, agreements, projects, among other activities.charismaHEALING AND LIBERATION BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRITMission:The mission of the Catholic Community Reviver is: “to promote the human person, giving him an integral formation, having as principle the fundamental proclamation of the Gospel (Kerigma) within the preferential option for the poor and marginalized, based on the experience of Baptism in the Holy Spirit , contributing to the construction of a Renewed society towards the definitive kingdom”.We have a Therapeutic Community that assists men aged 18 and over for treatment in a closed regime for chemical dependency in the city of Jaboticatubas.
